About Noodle Design
Noodle Design was built from inside the world of competitive swimming and youth sports. What started as a way to organize one team’s suits, caps, and apparel has grown into a full-service partner for athletic programs, swim clubs, schools, and organizations that want professional branding, streamlined ordering, and reliable gear.
We combine hands-on experience as coaches and team parents with deep relationships across leading apparel and performance brands. The result: a simple, guided process that takes the stress out of apparel, sponsorships, and team stores—so you can stay focused on your athletes.
Our Story
Noodle Design began on the pool deck, solving real problems for real teams: confusing order forms, scattered vendors, missed deadlines, and coaches stuck handing out boxes at practice. We saw how much time and energy was being spent on gear instead of training, and decided there had to be a better way.
From those early days, we started coordinating swim caps, suits, and apparel for local programs—then expanded into custom branding, seasonal drops, and fully managed online team stores. As our teams grew, so did their needs, and Noodle Design naturally evolved to support full athletic departments and multi-sport programs, not just swim.
Today, Noodle Design partners with teams across the country, helping them look sharp, stay organized, and create a unified identity that athletes and families are proud to represent.
Meet the Founder
Noodle Design was founded by Darren Milun, an experienced Enterprise Architect and Lead Software Developer who has spent years designing systems that make complex processes simple and efficient. As a long-time swim coach—and a parent who grew up coaching his kids’ teams—Darren saw firsthand how frustrating apparel ordering, vendor communication, and sponsorship coordination had become for coaches and families.
Noodle Design began as a small act of nicety: helping a local team organize suits, caps, and apparel so coaches could spend more time on deck and less time managing spreadsheets. What started as a simple favor quickly became a streamlined, tech-driven service supporting full athletic departments, swim programs, and multisport organizations across the country.
With a unique blend of coaching experience, technical leadership, and operational design, Darren built Noodle Design to deliver the one thing every program deserves: a clean, modern, stress-free way to manage team branding, apparel, and sponsorships.
